Dilemma

I'm a Mac fan, never really saw the need to turn to Windows for most of my tasks. The thing stopping me from getting the iPhone was ofcourse (sadly), smsing with bluephoneelite, which unfortunately, the iPhone's bluetooth will not work with, and somehow I've gotten seriously addicted to BPE, it's something I've lived with comfortably since I got it from Colin.
In comes Google's answer to a smart phone, and thank goodness it doesn't run Windows Mobile!!!

I have to admit I'm really looking forward to this phone, the reviews online have been pretty good, I wonder how it'll fair though, so Apple does have a lot of apps, I admit, but as long as the Nexus has the apps that I really need, then I don't see how Apple's apps store is better other than the fact that it has a lot of stuff which I probably will not use...you don't have to go to a megamart to buy milk and cheese when the coffeeshop downstairs sells it as well ya?

If it can do all that AND run on BPE, I think I got a winner =)

In case you're wondering what the Nexus One is like, check out the video, there's a longer one but I figured I'd post the shorter one even though the guy in the video kinda comes across as super cheesy. =\

My colleague has the Nexus One. The screen display is gorgeous, beats the iPhone except that you can't see sh*t under sunlight (AMOLED drawback). Gotta rely on voice control to dial under the sun and totally forget about sms-ing/surfing/emailing.

Nice build, feels solid but somewhat heavy. Unfortunately UI is not as snappy as iPhone OS. Not many local apps at the moment also.

lol I figured the screen problem could be solved with the proper type of screen protector.

As for the slightly choppy user interface, not that big a problem to me, it's not like I'm gonna scroll back and forth extremely fast like they do in the demos, who on earth does that when looking for a contact? lol

Where did your friend get it anyway?

As long as its not an iphone. It's not an option.

Before you buy an iphone. You will always consider other handphones.

Once you buy an iphone. There is no such thing as another handphone.
