Oodles for Noodles

On Saturday evening, I found myself going to two separate places for two pretty popular bowls of noodles.

The first being Citizoom which has a stall located at the Old Airport Road food centre.
Like stated in Leslie Tay's blog, this place serves up a bowl with every item made out of fish!

"Even the noodles?"
YES EVEN THE NOODLES!

"Even the skin used to make the wontons?"
Ok now you're just trying to get at me.
Apparently you can opt for your taditional mee kia, mee pok etc, but it would be best to go for their handmade noodles that mixes fish meat with their flour to give this noodle quite a "bounce" to its bite. =) Worth trying especially if you're a fish lover. This item has fish meat from its "ba chor" to it Ngoh Hiang.

I didn't get a chance to eat the Ngoh Hiang though, will try it some other day.

Another place I went to was Bedok 85 Market with Xinn after her work cause she was feeling hungry. I didn't actually ate my own bowl of noodles, but got to snatch a little off hers while we were there.
Honestly though, I'm not a big fan of the BCM at that place, probably because I love vinegar and chili in my noodles.

Granted I could ask for kway teow etc cause I don't really fancy mee kia, but no vinegar and chili = not exactly my type of dish.
Xinn loves it though, can't be help, she's been having it all her life since she lives near the area. I ave to admit its fragrant, but it's not something you'd find me craving over any time soon.

Now for that Fish BCM on the other hand..........
