Extended Thoughts...

Com Crash

I've been rather sian recently, really because I came home to a computer that was broken. Apparently the Harddrive of 5 years had finally busted on me and could nolonger read. Thankfully I don't store anything important in that drive, but still, it's a pain cause now I got no access to other important things unless I pry open the damn casing.

Pffft.

Anyway...well, now that I think about it...no.

Baby's Graddy

I haven't been rather sian recently, in fact, I've been pretty happy recently, just sian with that one thing, but on the whole I've been quite =D
For one, Xinn graduated last Saturday, it was a big deal for her and she wanted me to be part of it so I helped out as a volunteer and found time to meet her during her graduation.
I think she was really happy to be graduating but more importantly, to be reunited with her bunch of classmates again. You could tell from her smile that she was more excited to see old friends than to receive her award =)
I'm really glad to see she's finally done it, just a few more months and her internship will be done and she'll officially be completely free of UNLV work whatsoever =D

Dinner with Hype (little) Beasts.

Not in the fashion sense anyway. After graddy, I headed over to my uncle's house in the evening with Xinn to have dinner at their place. Xinn liked my aunt's cooking, and compared it to her Granny's who made really good food as well...I think the older generation cooking is a dying scene...you don't have food that taste that good from the younger generation anymore...oh dear.
Anyway another reason why I wanted to go down was to see my two nieces and nephew whom I normally would only get to see once a year, every Chinese New Year...which kinda sucks don't you think? So it was kinda great to see them again.
I have to say though...Xena and Xelene (Yes that's their name) are the two more active girls I've ever met...omg they run EVERYWHERE! And they yell and scream and play hide-and-seek games with you, it's like their in their own world, and it's amazing how my cousin can put up with them...well then again, they ARE her kids...so I guess she's used to it, omg to calm and cool, I love hanging out with my nieces but I doubt I could ever be that calm if I were to hear them scream day in day out for...well...days.

Treasures

One thing I did get to look at while at my uncle's house was his old Canon SLR, a film 888D, as well as a range finder...
My uncle loves to play with his old cameras but he never took on the trend of going digital and remained interested in his trusty SLR. The prize possession which even he himself didn't think would be of that much value would be his Canon GIII, which is one of the most popular camera back in the day though it goes almost unnoticed in the 21st century.
These are just some of the samples that come out of this heavy duty clunky piece of work. Impressive isn't it? You don't get "compacts"...not even the modern Digital G10..to work anywhere close to that kinda quality if you ask me.

Speaking of cameras...I managed to fork out a bit of cash and got dear this for a graduation present
I knew she's been raving for one, and I'm seriously not the type to be good with picking presents so I just went with what I thought she'd prolly plan to get for herself if I got her nothing anyway.
I'm glad she liked it though, one day we'll go get some film and start taking fish-eye snaps k?? =)

Cloudy Snaps

Speaking of snaps, I was in my dad's care last week with my camera when I looked over to the side mirrors and realised the sky was damn nice! I whipped out the 450D and took two shots I'd like to share...
If only I could get out of the car and take the shot. But still, I thought this was beautiful.

Nature sure is pretty isn't it?

*Goes to bed*
