Apple just got an update...

I browsed through Apple's site today and true enough, they've updated their range of stuff!
First thing's first...the iPhone nowcomes with slight internal upgrades, the most significant one being video...which...well...k la...that's it?

Their new apps look cool though, but still not a big leap...then again what to expect? Handphones aren't exactly rocket science when it comes to features....it isn't easy to think outside the box after all.
Macbooks nolonger carries the metal version....basically it's just a marketing strategy switch. Aluminum macbooks are now all refered to as "Macbook Pros"...sigh. But ok, at least you get the following which the previous aluminum macbook didn't have:

Firewire 800 (great if you really wanna work with video edits and stuff)
SD Card Slot (All models...no more external SD card reader!)
The new 7 hour battery life with the in built battery.
$1988 for the base 13 inch model!!! That's $200 off with 3 additional features!

K la it's jsut 3 additional features...still, without them...$200 off is worth it!

The 15 inch model's great, but the low range 15 inch, though $2788, doesn't have dual graphics card, which could cost $3288 if you want that...$100 more than the previous MBP, but at least they give you a 2.66Ghz processor instead of a 2.4, plus 320GB harddrive at 4GB memory.

Wow I sound daaaaaaaaaaaamn geekish, but yeah, need to figure out how much it costs what...right?

It looks great to be honest.

Now if only I had $$$...
Looks like my macbook is scheduled for a major update too following the new releases...whee!!!
