So I haven't exactly been finding time to pay attention to this blog of mine (apologies), what with school and everything, plus I've now taken the role of helping out at the
Spinworkx Yo-Yo Blog, so I have to spend a bit of time writing up stuff and posting them there instead...go check it out even if you're not a fan, I think some of the stuff like the Save Deth interview is really worth the read, the two guys were bunches of fun interviewing. =)

Anyway Monday after school, a few of us headed down to the Raffles Town Club for the Restaurant Association of Singapore's conference.

I thought the session was pretty good, especially the talk from Devin kimble of Brewerkz who was really engaging.

As headsets were provided for people who needed translations for some of the speakers who spoke either english or mandarin, I took one headset for the session by the CEO or Breadtalk, and ended up finding myself laughing my ass off as the translator was TERRIBLE....T E R R I B L E!!!! He was so bad that half way into the talk he was cut and shoved aside, then taken over by a young Chinese speaking lady who was so enthusiastic you some how get more distracted by her talking than the actual topic.

The session got a little draggy at the end but I thought all in all it was a pretty good talk worth going to.

Friday, our Hotel Association managed to finally get Fullerton Hotel down to our school to give a talk to our students who were keen to know more about Resume Writing.

I thought the session was one hellava great one especially with Dylan and Kelly who were really good at giving pointers to the students about resume faults and what not. Even I had a lot to learn that day compared to what was taught in class and I was really happy the students threw a lot of questions cause it meant that they were willing to learn and that kinda made me really happy. =)

Anyway that's one headache that I'm glad to be finally rid of, looks like from now till May, the rest of the events will be in the hands of the junior team while the rest of us get ready for Apac CHRIE and other school related stressed.
For now, the West Coast Classics yo-yo competition will be commencing in about 8 hours time.
Gotta sleep, night ppl =)
