I seldom have time these days to hang out with them so it was a really good experience chilling with them again. =)
Joppa handed me a yoyo to try, apparently he had chopped up a Delrin yoyo he broke, grind it down in the middle, and refit the thing with another set of innards which I thought played really good! See how being able to operate a milling machine can help you?
Another thing I was quite amused by was this thing he was smoking all the time.
Apparently it's an electronic cigerette which helps curb smoking by removing all the harmful toxins u'd get from a regular cigerette. I got a wiff of it just to see how it worked, only to be told immediately after doing so that it may still be addictive...oops?Thankfully it wasn't that big an inhale or it would have been a bad move.
This thing isn't sold in Singapore though, they got it from China (I think they don't sell them due to certain legal reasons about getting pure nicotine liquid or sth) but I thought it was a good idea which works, Joppa hasn't been smoking for 2 months and has cut down on his habit of smoking quite abit. On the other hand, two of his other friends who bought it are still puffing sticks everyday, so it prolly doesnt work for everyone.
Still, isn't it cool how technology these days can help ppl with their smoking habits? =)
