just plain ignorant

Maybe limiting paper to 1 ream a day will allow students to "fight" for the need to print stuff, get pissed off with their own classmates who over-print paper, and eventually reduce paper usage on their own to meet the 500-sheet daily limit.

We don't have to be the ones who play "bad cop", we'll let their own students play that role.

500 sheets among 150+ students = 3.3 sheets per student....minus almost half the students who don't print stuff, that's prolly 6.6 sheets per student a day...more than 12 sides of white surface to work with.

Sounds fine by me.
