Geof's 50th

Xinn and I headed down to East Coast Park to see Alex and his partner Geof at a party celebrating Geof's 50th birthday.
Normally frown upon in most cultures, I can understand why people do not approve of same-sex relationships and what not...but other than from a religious point of view, I think those who don't like it "just because" should need to re-check themselves.

Is it wrong to be happy?
Anyway I thought the party was a blast, they even had a Pinata filled with sweets and er....condoms. lol
Kids went through sweets while the parents sifted through the condoms as a form of "censorship"...lol. Still it was really sporty of them to bring their family down to the party to show some support. =)
I think the pineapple margarita served with a piece of chili padi was awesome, spicy, but nice =) Just a piece of that dropped into a cup immediately turns the entire drink into a cooling-spicy beverage.
Overall, I thought the event was pretty awesome and a great eye-opener (no adult stuff don't worry).

Anyway Happy Birthday to Geoff, and thanks Alex for the invite =)
