Wednesday night I hung out with KZ, Jamie and Xinn at Tapas Tree @ Clarke Quay for drinks while the New Year was just minutes away.

I'm not really a party person, my last few new years were spent sleeping or working. I've never really seen a reason to celebrate things, but I figured since there were people who wanted to hang, I figured "wth" and went ahead.

We also had supper at TCC but the photos were too dark I had no decent shots to put up. I ended up heading home at around 5:30, KOed at 6 and woke up again at 10:30, drove down to River Valley to Jamie's place to help out with a lil shifting to her new home.

Jamie, Kenneth, Xinn and I had headed down to Jamie's old palce near town to shift a few stuff over to her new place near NUS Prata, which was pretty near where I live, considering if u had a car to drive there that is =)

I really like her new place, for the price you get quite a nice location that looks really neat. It's a 3-room apartment so it may not be suitable for a family of 5 like mine, but still it's a mighty good looking place. =)

After setting up her com and going back to get changed, we met up later around 10 and headed to Holland V to Wala Wala to chill and hang out.

I also bumped into Caterina at the place, another regular Wala Wala customer whom I've known since Dunearn days.
It's my second time there, and I've heard a lot about the bands that play at their pub, but never got up to listen to the stuff they play.

The UnXpected were playing that night though, and damn they were good! I mean, Tabula in ChinaOne is awesome, but so are these ppl! I think their Drummer Brandon Khoo is really good but I'm not one to be familiar with Drummers in general so maybe Hans will have a better idea on what skill really is. But I did appreciate the performance as a whole although the music weren't stuff I listened to.
Overall I think this new year was well spent, not too hype, but pretty fun, at least some work was done, which was satisfying. =)
I'll find time to post again. It's 9pm, I'm gonna close the Spinworkx store soon.
