I'm bored, it's a Monday and it's Deepavali, and the Sentosa Trip got canceled.
So here I am, cross-legged on my chair typing aimlessly on this blog of mind trying to kill what time I have case it's already noon and I've been using more air-conditioning in my room than I should have already for the weekend. =\
Yesterday's dinner was pretty good considering we ended up eating at Conrad instead.
I have to say though, even though I've worked at this place 4 yrs ago, it has changed to much I could barely recognize the cafe.
I think the best dish I had at the place surprisingly wasn't their array of international dishes, which honestly, were good, but surprisingly, I enjoyed their noodle station that had bakut teh which was daaaamn impressive....Or rather, the soup was really fragrant and delicious, and the pork ribs were slow-cooked till it fell off the bone....YUM!I've got a slow cooker lying around somewhere and my maid hasn't exactly been using it since she's not one to be interested in trying out cooking on a whole...maybe I'll go out get some radish, carrots, potatoes, pork ribs and dried squid or scallops and try this whole slow-cooking thing out.
Just a thought. =\
