The one week holiday's over...and it was pretty hectic from start to finish.
Did I enjoy my holidays?
Yes and No...I guess you could say I did a lot of things I wanted to get done, but at the same time, I was a bit too lazy and wanted to reserve the entire week for ZZZZZ...guess we can't get everything can we?
BEACH
Since last week's Sentosa trip was pretty enjoyable, some of us decided to go for a second trip, this time round to the other side of Sentosa at KM8 to chill out, and with a larger group too, from Rebel 1, 2, 3 and 4!

Joanna even brought her Doggy, which I thought was DAAAAAAAAMN ADORABLE!

Chestine came in the morning, but didnt follow for the trip as she had sth on and surprised Deborah in the morning for her Birthday. I think the trip was a pretty good way to start the holidays, though the weather got a bit wet at first, it turned out to be an awesome Sentosa trip =)

Some of us even met up with Rebecca later for KTV session over at Suntec City....for the price we paid though, I doubt I'd go back again. =\
Oh, and Xin Wei took pictures with her Lomo too, she's getting WAAAAAAY better at it with each time she brings her Lomo out to play =)

Anyway u can check out more of the shots I took at Sentosa on the following link
SENTOSA PART 2Booze
Tuesday saw the Finals of the National Bartending Competition as well as the Heats for the 18th Asia Pacific Bartending Competition over at Clarke Quay, since it was a Hotel Association event, I had to make a trip down, not that I was complaining, I love these events anyway =)

Typically with such events, when there's booze, there's a lot of noise, but it wasn't the type that comes along with violence, the place was just happening and the atmosphere was FANTASTIC! Probably the BEST bartending event I've been to and hopefully I'd go again next year =)
You can check out more of those pics at this album

So the next evening, I was invited by SHA, along with H.A. member Grace and our Dean and Clare, to go to the Gala Dinner for the finals of the Bartending competition.

It was great to see the best of different countries compete head on, Thailand and Indonesia were REALLY GOOD, and Taiwan put on a Michael Jackson outfit and even danced on stage...lol

Well, not much of one to begin with, it was KZ's 24th, so a few of us headed down to Zouk to Celebrate. =) I rushed down in a Cab with Grace who also had another party to attend to in Zouk as well...I think both of us came to the party over dressed...lol

Don't even ask about the last picture...and no I wasn't high, I didnt even drink...lol.
More pictures here too
KZ's 24thOrientationSo Friday saw a new group of students coming into our school, Rebel 5. And since I had to do two presentations that day, I had to be there from morning to ensure that the Gmail accounts and other powerpoint presentations were ready to go.

The Orientation was pretty good, although I heard the games got a lil wet due to the weather, I couldn't stay long though...cause I had to head over to...
Malaysia=)
So I boarded the bus at 5pm that same day and was heading down AYE when the bus broke down for 3 whole hours...
It was pretty annoying cause I could've taken the 6pm bus and be there earlier...but later got amused when I saw that the bus uncle was wearing a Fast Challenge yoyo cap

that made my day...for awhile...
and then the sky turned from this...

To this...

To this.

Coincidentally, we were broken down on AYE number 13, on a Friday...what luck, I reached KL at 2am that night.
Over the weekend I got to meet up with an old friend from Malaysia, Jim, who raced in countless Streetluge events back in the States and Europe. We got out his gear and took a group shot along with mine.

Almost everything (except for the rollerblades) have probably hit at least 60km/h downhill before...not fast for those in a car, but when u're inches off a ground, it's incredibly amazing =)
We rode both in the rain

And under the sun

Thankfully, as compared to 7 years ago though, I didn't wipe out and hurt myself...Jihad spun out when an oncoming car almost ran into him cause the driver was taking our lane, this sport is dangerous at times, but with the right precautions, accidents seldom happen....and that road apparently seldom had cars, so overall it was safer to ride than the private estates we used to try out back in the day =)

I couldn't do a speed test run, my luge wasn't built as fast as theirs were, and my equipment weren't new, so I couldn't keep up at certain conditions, but overall the trip up for the luge experience was worth it, beats the heck out of a Sentosa "luge" ride. =D
I later headed down to Times Square to check out the Malaysian Yoyo Competition that was going on that day.

Colin, Firdaus, Ian, Jun Jie, Iskandar, Qingwen and Melvin were there as well, I didn't expect this many Singaporeans to come and check out the event, but was glad they did. I couldn't stay long, cause my bus ride home was at 5:30pm.
I got back around 12:30am that night, and was shit tired, so I gave blogging a miss, sorry guys.
More pictures of the Malaysia trip can be viewed here though
