Pffffffffffffffffffft

Obviously from the title you can tell I'm not exactly enjoying myself right now.

You see, like I've mentioned (have I?), this term, I'm taking College Algebra and Nutrition(Bio Science)...both of which are supposedly JC standard courses.

Now for those of you who know me since secondary school, there was a good reason why I dropped A math and Biology from my course. The fact that I'm taking it now isn't exactly helping at all. I mean, 9 yrs ago, I had difficulty absorbing everything in one year, now I've got 5 weeks to cram in as much as possible and it's honestly starting to take a toll on me.

I've never been SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO stressed in a long long time. =(

Hence, the lack of motivation meant the lack of things to blog about...but I'll starty with

WEDNESDAY

So our UNLV Hotel Association planned out a trip to the Tiger Brewery to check out how beer is made...which didn't turn out to be as interesting as we thought it would be....BOOOO...afterall, it's a factory, and factories aren't exactly sight-seeing quality know? It was hot, humid, and the smell of warm beer filled the air...not very attractive if you ask me.
But I guess, of course, the main highlight for that day was the tavern, which provided everyone with beer, beer, and more beer!
Now I'm not one to drink much, I had a taste of the different beers they had to offer, but I was happy to see most of the ppl pretty satisfied with the trip, I mean, it's beer, with friends, what's not to like? =)

FRIDAY

It was after the exams...no wait...let's back track a bit.....back to WEDNESDAY

Wednesday - I had my Nutri Quiz, which was quite painful to do, but we managed...after which I stayed back in sch to study for...

Thursday - ...my Nutri EXAM and Algebra Quiz....that was enough to give me one hell of a headache, but it was far from over, as...

Friday- ...I had my Algebra EXAM, which was just as painful!!!

So anyway...after class on Friday, Robert, Kevin and I stayed back to decorate the Podcast room...as robert had the initial idea to put a film-like design at the back of the white wall where the table was, he spent that afternoon photoshopping macro shots of pics we took of the equipment in the Podcast room, then cut them out to pieces and put them into a "film strip" which he had spent the previous days painstakingly cutting away.
Anyway after all that hard work, it finally paid off, and personally I think that's one of the best looking backdrops I've seen in a long time, awesome =)

After that, I headed down to China ONE...no not for work this time round, but to chill!!!

As I had decided to help out Shahmil with the video as a favor, I didn't ask for money, but in return, they offered a complimentary bottle of anything that I liked with a $250 limit. I'm not really a drinker, so I asked my classmates what they wanted, and so we got a Chivas for that evening, which a few of us went down to drink as well as celebrate Junita's birthday =)
Some of the Rebel 1s were there as well as REbel 3s. But I think we were glad that Seo Joo, who returned for awhile to Singapore from main campus could come and hang out with us, it's been a long time and alot of us miss her =)
I even had the opportunity to take shots of the bartenders Shahmil, Boyan, Ogy, and one more guy I can't remember his name (oops!)
I also got the chance to speak to the Managing Director Tony Tan, who thanked me for the video and managed to chat up some of our classmates to learn more about the sch, hopefully in future we could lias sth together to benefit the students at UNLV to come down and chill out =)

Sunday, I saw myself back in sch with Tatz helping me out with my algebra problem, although in the end we didn't exactly got down to doing math as we had to rush for our nutri homework due tmr, and I'm still not done yet! guess I'll have to head to sch tmr to finish it up before lessons start...booo...

K well like I said, this week has been rather...pfffffffft...and so will prolly be the next few weeks ahead until Algebra and Nutri is over.

For now, it's late, and I need sleep, my week will be no where close to fun, but yo guys enjoy yours ya?
