Presents from Hongkong, New Drift ground, School Rep, Video Sessions and Government funded dinners.

So I'm gonna make this post pretty swift and quick cause I don't have much to say.

School's back, and along with it came this really cute present from my classmate Reneta, who went to Hongkong Disneyland during the 3 week break and bought a keychain for me =)

Lesson's been pretty boring so far. A lot of reading is needed for this term, especially with Green Hospitality where every week we had to summarize stuff we read, not to mention we have tonnes of stories to read from World Literature.

At one point, I got so board I took out the remaining fruit pastilles from my pocket and decided to go Jenga on them.
Thursday, I went down to Ulu Panda community centre to meet up with Danny who was in charge of the interest groups in that area to discuss on the possibilities of holding an RC drift club in their court.
After some talks and demos on the street soccer court which we intended to use, we had the green light and so this Tuesday I think some of the guys will be heading down to give it a go, I might be in school studying though...lol.

Friday, a bunch of us went back to school to represent our country in some press conference tour the STB was giving a bunch of reporters.

I didnt actually have a proper uniform, so we had to improvise and I had to borrow.
I was really tired of the whole idea of getting up so early for this event, cause throughout the week, I had already looked forward to friday being me SLEEP ALL DAY schedule...but I guess I'll have to postphone it to this coming friday then =)
Saturday I went down to Heeren to help Colin do some filming for the iShop's DJ roadshow event and got to see some of the DJ graduates pull off some fancy stuff.
They even had former graduate DJ Momma, who's really a mother of four who's really good at this DJ thing, and really friendly too...I bet her kids must be damn proud of her. =)
Hey Colin!!! Who's that girl on the right in the last picture? She's pretty cute and helpful although I didnt actually get to have any proper conversation with her....hook up leh...lol!

At night, I headed down to the Grand Copthorne for the PAYM after chingay appreciation dinner, got to meet up with some of the old friends as well as enjoy dinner as I hadn't eaten the entire day.
You have to give it to them, the Government sure rewards their people well if you work under them...dinner was pretty good. =)

We didnt stay long though, Colin, Hans and I took off early to watch Be Kind Rewind which I felt was a really good show which ppl should all go check out =) Here's the trailer, it doesn't capture one's attention, but it's really good in my opinion, really creative movie...not to mention the ending was really heart warming..=)

Anyway while I'm putting that trailer up, I might as well put up this song I've been listening to recently which to me is really good and refreshing. it's by this singer from London called Estelle featuring Kanye West, one of the few rappers these days who do things out of the box and stray away from the usual "gangster" rap scene...even if you guys dun like hip hop, which I dun really consider this song to be so, i think this song's still worth listening to =)

K well I've come to the end of my post, I need to knock out for sch tmr

takecare ppl, have a great week ahead, cheerios =)

Andrew
