2 weeks late

Did I forget to blog last week?

Blame it on exams, Monday was our first Marketing Exams and I didn't wanna go all flompy on my first paper so I spent Sunday in school jotting notes and doing some reading on the first 4 chaps

Anyway it's pass midnight so I'll squeeze both weeks into a quick entry =)

LAST Tuesday
The bunch of us went out for lunch over at Ah Yat since someone suggested Dim Sum and coined the word "cheap" inside the sentence, so we went and had a go at it =)
11 of us went, Jade, Jenny, Sophie, Danielle, Junita, Chin Ya, Renata, Kelly, Deborah, Robert and Me.

I have to admit, the food was AWESOME! And for the price we paid, I guess it was pretty ok. =)
I think the highlight for me was this...BAMBOO CLAMS!
I havn't had these in awhile and the thought of having one was just so tempting I ordered it, along with my other classmates who wanted one too.

Talk about spending big on my first day of the new month some more...lol.

At night I headed down to UPCC to check out how things were going at the drift meet.
Despite the rain, there were quite a few turn ups, which was good, the floor was great and I think it has potential to become really big with UPCC's help =)

LAST Wednesday

I think it was Natasha from Rebel 1 who brought these into class during afternoon's Marketing Class...GOSH!
Isn't this the most hardcore snacks u've ever seen? Deep Fried maggots, crickets, baby frogs, cicadas and grasshoppers!!

ACK!!! And u know most of the guys weren't the ones who touched it, but mainly the girls, and by girls I mean the ones u see doll up really nice when they go out, YES, how hardcore is that? lol.

Evening, I headed out with KZ, Shi Chang, Xin Wei, Joanna, Richmond and his girlfriend for a game of pool...all rebel 1s, one rebel 3. lol
I hadn't played pool in ages, so it felt more like I was aimlessly smacking colored balls around the table and not getting any of them into the hole whatsoever.

Still, it was fun, and would hope to do more of this some other day. =)

LAST Thursday

Apparently, one of our professor's birthday was on the way, and so was Pamela from my class, so a birthday cake was brought into class to celebrate for the both of them.
Age is such a sensitive issue, so both ladies get to blow out one candle each instead. lol.

Del got me to take this photo as well, dunno what she'll want with it, but hey DEL, if u're reading this, NAH

LAST Saturday

After the yoyo meet, Hakim, Melvin and I went out to West Coast Park McDonalds, but first hung outside the Asian Civilization Museum and mess around a bit.
I dunno which is more scary, Grandpa or Melvin...lol.

LAST Sunday

So like I said, I spent the entire day in school. While there though, I found out that my E4C wire had broke!!! ACK!!!
So I gave Uncle Wilson at Jaben a call, but it's been a week and he hasn't been able to tell me if I could send mine in for fixing...guess I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Dinner was simple, and some what miserable, but at least the japanese instant wonton had a lil bit of taste to it..lol
Can't really complain when you're busy with exams and dun wanna go outside to eat. =)

MONDAY

So to make up for Sunday's terrible meal, Robert, Chin Ya, Danielle and I went for lunch at Sakae Teppanyaki.

remember my trip with Robert and Jade to the place? It was so good, I had to go there again =)
I love onions and garlic, and the garlic rice was AWESOME, the amount of garlic that went into that rice wasn't enough in my opinion, but still fragrant indeed =)

I love how they made the chawanmushi though...so innovative, using the hotplate as it's base and a cut onion as the bowl. =)

THURSDAY

We had to put Brufus down, Hans and Colin had bigger plans and Brufus was not among those plans.
So we decided before we say good bye to our dear friend, we gave him a farewell photo taking session and paid out respects before we took him apart.
I'll keep you guys posted on what's in store next time round. =)

I finally had my first meal at Kenny Rogers.

Some of u guys might be going "WHAAAAT??!!! Never tried it before????"

Well..yeah. I mean, when you work at Black Angus and get to taste good steak, fabulous ribs and tender chicken, why go elsewhere to eat it right? lol
I gotta say though, the chicken wasn't really impressive, Carrefour had chicken that could challenge the one sold at KR, but the Ribs...not bad, not bad at all, worth eating again =)

FRIDAY

I found myself in school again. There wasn't any class, but I had to rush some papers, so what to do right?

At least I got to try microwavable popcorn. =)
Again, to those who've tried microwavable popcorn must be looking at me like I'm some mountain tortoise, truth be told yah I'm not a big pop corn fan, but heck la, when you're hungry, you're hungry. =)

K, well FINALLY!!! I've come to the end of my post...started at 12:45, ended at 2:45...ack!

Better sleep, quiz tmr.
