No?
Well....k, fine. But it sure beats staying at home doing nothing for days and spending money like there's no tomorrow.
Sucks to be like that....I'd gladly go to sch than to rot at home any day.
That aside.
The week had been pretty dull.
Tuesday saw me heading down to Joshua's Silver Smith shop to fix up an steady-cam make shift bar for my camera.
For those who don't know, a steadycam is basically a piece of equipment that helps stabilize the video camera it's mounted to. This helps the cameraman run along with the camera without having it shake too much. The principle is really simple, balance, and weight, a lot of weight.
So we took a steel bar from a metal cupboard and Joshua got down to bending the solid bar into sorta like a "U" shape.
It's really just for backup, incase I intend to do some low shots next time round I try to make another rc video. We did a test run at the alley behind his shop and the video came out pretty impressive. With that said, I doubt I've really got any other use for it other than to do low angled shots.
I realised I havnt taken much photos for the week.
Chingay rehearsal was on Sunday and our yoyo volunteers had to head down to Kallang at 8am to attend the practice...I'm pretty glad we went prepared, cause most of the other groups weren't and so I think all in all the yoyo players did a better performance than the rest, despite our group having some of the youngest players inside. =)
Evening, we went to celebrate Hans pre-21st Birthday!!!
Not wanting it to be some big fancy thing, we went for dinner at Swensens at Orchard instead.
After dinner, we hung out at Starbucks just beside it for coffee, since I needed sleep, I went for Chai instead, which tasted pretty good, sth new from Starbucks I guess.Anyway this post is REALLY short, I've basically come to the end of it...lol.
you guys have a great week ahead, it's back to school for me tomorrow morning.
Takecare guys, cheers!
Andrew
