Sometimes you don't know how happening your week really was until you look through the pictures that you took.

I mean seriously.

Just yesterday I was telling myself how little I thought I had to write about this week.

"Just another boring week" I thought..

And then, today as I emptied the photos from my camera phone and sifted through them did I realize that I had quite a bit to write about..YEAH! =D
So anyway I'll start off with last week's picture.....nth much, just the drawing Lynnette drew on the wall the other Sunday.

I will complain and say it doesn't look anything like me.......My hair's pointy, but not "rambutan" pointy. lol.
Also for those who don't know, Bugis Junction has renovated, and the basement which leads to the MRT has had a face lift. If you're a snack person, prepare to drown urself in Korean Dong Dae Mum, Dumplings, Kong Ba Pao, Economic Bee Hoon, Otah and LOTS MORE! =D

Monday, Robert, Karen, Chinya, Kelly and I went out for lunch at some place called the Ayam Penyet House.

If you remember, I talked about ayam penyet some time back where I had it opposite Bugis Junction with Robert.......wasn't really authentic, and so Robert brought us to the better one down near Shaw Tower.
I really liked this Ayam Penyet, although I was a tad bit concern about the amount of deep fried stuff it had...lol. YEah sometimes I do get very aware of the stuff I eat, and when I over eat a certain type of food, I get wary and try to cut down on it....so deep fried stuff this week...hm....

I will say now though, this entry seems to be nothing but food food and more food. I've really got nothing else to talk about this week. So if you're not looking to check out food items, u can close this window now. =)

Anyway Tuesday afternoon, almost the entire class practically stayed back to rush up the bits and pieces of the project which we had to hand in....so instead of eating out, everyone opted for eating in, PASTA MANIA!

Guess who became the delivery boy? yours truely...lol.
I did cheat a lil, and bought Otah to compliment my meal........damn nice man, I recommend you guys try it some time, Mackerel Otah with Cream Pasta....YUM.

So last week was probably the most intense week yet. Meetings, staying back late nights to finish up group work......really sucks btw, cause u realize who in ur class are the hardworking ones, and who are the ones who don't give a shit.
Haha, so what better way to relax than to have macdonalds and engage in a 1 hr bitching session to relief stress. Definitely worth it, good therapy too= )

I just realised that I've got pictures of every dinner I had for the entire monday to friday....HAHAHA

WEDNESDAY
We had dinner at Bugis Junction's Food Court. The presentation for Purchasing was OVER, and we figured we'd treat outselves to something simple yet tasty to relax abit...so I had Bryani, which btw was pretty good, although I think the Picture I took made it a bit too good...haha, it was tasty, just wasn't THIS tasty.
I think the best treat came when Robert bought this awesome fruit Ice Kachang for everyone to share, it's DAMN NICE! but it cost like, $5.50? Gosh......still worth eating though....I think i'll go help myself to another serving again next time...haha.

Gosh it's late, I'll just skip to dinner short stories and pictures

THURSDAY

Some of the guys in class decided we should have a DIY dinner session, and everyone chipped in to buy stuff for some Korean Bibimbap!!!

Dun ask me what it means, but I figured the together-dinner thingy was really cool and joined in.
We had the Koreans and Indonesian do up the mixing while the girls sat and wait and I took pictures......hahaha, how convenient.
If u do not like the smell of Kimchi though, I can certainly assure u that u wouldnt wanna be in that room at that point in time, cause the entire HCL was practically filled with the smell....lol
I have to say I'm not a big fan of kimchi. Not that i dun like it, it's good, I just dun rave about it. But hey the meal was pretty nice and the fact that it was a whole bunch of ppl enjoying it, it felt like a home away from home indeed. =)

FRIDAY
I had the craving for Naan, and our exams was just over and we had just spent a few hours in school watching movies with our laptops attached to the projector...can anyone scream "abuse of sch equipment!"? Lol....who cares, the exams were over, chill time!

Anyway I did manage to enjoy some naan over at the coffee shop opposite the library.
I know the green stuff in between the naan in the last picture may look disgusting, I can assure u it's fantastic, even Deborah my classmate who thought it looked awful later commented that it tasted good....hahaha =)

SATURDAY

sucked REALLY BAD....I had a headache, it rained all day, I was feeling sick, the bus ride home sucked. The horfun I had was TERRIBLE, the only time I had fun was when I found Halloumi cheese!!!

I dun think I've talked about this cheese before. But I read it from Leslie Tay's Blog that it's really good to eat as a vegetarian replacement for meat stuff cause it was chewy and what not, so I figured I get one.

The recommended way to enjoying it was th fry it and eat it liddat, so I did.
It's my first time eating Halloumi cheese, and I have to say it's REALLY salty...although this is the only brand I tried so far, which contained Cow, Sheep and Goat's milk with mint and some herbs.

I bought another packet recently, maybe I'll try that one and review it again just to get a second chance on this item. Salty it may be, I did enjoy it though. =)

SUNDAY

I went out with Robert, Jade, Kelly and Chestine to watch Enchanted.

Trust me if u think this is just another fairy tale show, it's really a good comedy in disguise, and boy it's funny!

Anyway we had dinner later at Ichiban Sushi...nth special, thought I'd take a few snaps though.
What really caught my eye though was this vending machine that dispensed fruits!!!! They really should have more of these around, I think I'd become a regular customer...lol.

K well that concludes my blog....seriously, it's slowly turning into some sort of food blog I swear.......ACK!

Anyway k to make it unfood-ish, yet some what cooking related...here's this really cool beatboxing video I found on Youtube. Enjoy =)
