Last Saturday, Jeremy, a driver from another camp met with an accident early in the morning when he was negotiating a turn outside my camp to go pick up some guys from the MRT station.
The wreckage was bad, he was driving a minibus(van) and probably dosed off when driving, which ended with him colliding into a tree.
The driver side was hit bad, and from what I know he was sent to ICU with head fractures, broken leg etc.
Anyone good with prayers? Cause I suck at it...but everyone's hoping for the best, and last I heard he's making good recovery.
It's tragic though, cause he's going to ORD this september just like me, and has hit the required mileage to get a Civilian Driver's License...now all that's gone...sigh.
Well bad things aside, this week has been pretty ok I guess...what with the usual routine work in camp. I've just got started with a new project with the guys though, we're trying to make a new safety video for drivers in the SAF and hopefully it'll work, cause I only have a month to work on it and so I can't guarantee it'll work.
The good news is I get clearance to bring in my video camera for filming, and while I can't show you military stuff(CLASSIFIED!!! Wanna know more about the army? Go sign on yourself!!!), I can show you this!!
Enough of camp stuff too though, I've been messing around alot with my Video camera's function and really enjoy the 6megapixel camera function...3x more than my phone, with auto focus, what's now to like? Lol plus while taking random pictures, I found this one really interesting.
I do!!!
Cause it's food related!!! And I didn't know how beautiful a packet of instant noodles would ever look until now...splendid!!!
Also, I brought my cam out to One Fullerton to try and take a picture I've been dying to take for ages...the cranes working opposite the river!!! I know it's silly but when you see the pic you'd know what I mean.
I still like the pictures though...so much potential...=)
Oh I bought Famous Amos cookies today, didn't know their packaging has changed...the last time I remember them changing their packaging was....wow, never!!!
Well I'm done with today's blogging....I haven't really gotten anything to say this week...boring boring boring.
Gonna book into camp later tonight.
You guys takecare man,
Cheers!
Andrew
