Well this week hasn't been very eventful.

Lol.

K anyway last week was my youngest brother's birthday, remember? So dinner at this restaurant in Railmall called "Let's Clap" with one of my dad's good friend's family was arranged.

Well, my bro's pretty close with them, I seldom hang out with their group anyways, different age group I guess.

Dinner's pretty good though, for a name which is pretty witty yet cheesy at the same time...lol.


If you don't know yet, "Let's Clap" is a chinese restaurant, so it having a name as such...well...er...really out of the ordinary.

But I guess by now, looking at the first picture any idiot will tell you it's a restaurant which specializes in Chilli Crab. =)

Yep, it's a birthmark, don't ask, he gets sensitive about it. The other two's Nick...and...er....yeah.

See what I mean when I say I don't hang out with them often?

Anyway I figured since I didn't eat Chilli Crabs at the Chilli Crab fair that afternoon at Taka, I wasn't expecting to eat any in the evening.

Lol what the hell, 1 claw and a leg later, I'm done. =)

I didn't take pictures of the crab though, hands too filthy with chilli sauce to be bothered to snap a shot. =)

The weekdays went by pretty fast, I didn't really go much, partly cause my last month's expenditure really got me worried about the way I spend things.

This month isn't helping either, it's only the 8th of july, and it says here I've hit $200 already...*ack!*

I did check out westmall at Bukit Batok though...normally I'd pass it by on my way home from camp during nights out...but it's the Singapore Food Festival...FOOD FESTIVAL!!!

What idiot wouldn't stop by to take a peek eh?


And I'm glad I did, cause I came across the one thing I'd definitely get since I was there...and that is "DONG BAO"...don't ask me to translate that into english..go figure it out yourself...lol.

I bought the original, and one Chilli Crab chicken bun, which I like alot(by this, I mean the IDEA of it, not the taste), except for the chicken...it's a patty, so it's minced, could've been better if....I dunno...just didn't seem very nice after afew bites.

So come's Saturday, and as usual, I was at One Fullerton.

You can see the NDP Rehearsal from here...cool performance..although I must warn ppl with children to get ready for a REALLY LOUD BANG once the Chinook Helicopter flies really low the stage, drops off afew divers, then flies off again.

by loud, I mean LOUD loud, like a firework just exploded...only it's not way up in the air, it's IN YOUR FACE.

If you have a small infant, it'll cry...100% 10000000000000%

So do take note parents. =)

Anyway where was I?

Oh yeah...Fireworks.

Never a big fan of it, seen it so many times it gets boring...but there will always be the easily amused, and photographers, and boyfriends wanting to enchant their easily amused girlfriends with a flowery display(boy...another reason why I'm single..lol!!..no...not funny...sigh...*pfft*).

But I took a few pictures with my crappy Camera Phone anyway so here.

So I'll probably be saving up to get one of these in future.

DEFINITELY need one of these...5mega pixel, a proper xenon flash, auto focus...I'll get it once I ORD from the army...can't wait! 2 more months!!!!!!!

K well it's getting late, I gotta rush, dinner to grab, clothes to pack, a camp I have to go back to(sigh.)
