Lunched with Grace on Thursday at Founder's BKT at Balestier. Was gonna head for the one at Rangoon but it was crowded, so we went to the original one instead.
Grace isn't a fan of our local BKT compared to the Malaysian one, but the one at Ya Hua where Zouk is nearby is one she actually likes.
I can't say the same for the original outlet at Balestier, honestly even I was surprised, it was salty, peppery, and lacked any taste of bakut. It sorta paled in comparison to the outlet being run by the daughter at Rangoon. Perhaps that explains why there's a queuet in Rangoon and it was half empty at Balestier.
