Pacing with Running Department at Poraci Sweat Run 2-15

It's been awhile since I joined a race, let alone decide to pace in one.

My first pacing experience was back in 2012 as a Newton Pacer at the Army Half Marathon, it was a good learning experience, one that made me build my base as a runner as well as learn to further understand what I wanted out of running, which was not so much for self gain but through the experience of socializing and helping others.

So when the opportunity to pace at the Pocari Sweat Run came about, I took it immediately, and on Sunday, found myself up and early at the RD tent prepping for the race that morning.

Since I was doing the 8 minute pace group which was a lot slower than the one I took during AHM, I decided to bring the camera along for the ride, and was happy to have taken photos along the way.

Overall, though it was just 10 kilometers, it was a fun experience and I'm glad to have done it, brought back a lot of memories of why I decided to pace in the first place.

Thanks for the opportunity guys. =)
