Celebrating the Parentals @ Rise

28th October was our parent's birthday but cause they just got back from Hungary, they were really tired and we decided to schedule a birthday dinner for them an a separate occasion instead.

So this evening, we gathered at Rise at MBS for a mini celebration. It was our first time there and frankly I haven't gone for a buffet in quite awhile, they usually aren't worth your money, but since we weren't sure what to treat the folks this time round, something with variety was a good idea.

And variety was definitely plenty. I wouldn't consider this a place to come often but it was pretty decent for a buffet with the price of S$68++ per person. A lot of places these days are up to S$88 for a buffet dinner out on a friday (yikes).

Anyway, happy belated to Mum and Pop. =)
