So in an effort to meet up more with the Kangster, we decided to arrange for dinner last evening and found ourselves at East Coast Road walking around looking for food.
The plan was Italian...and then 3 minutes later the plan was shabu shabu, but then we ended up seated at Mookata for a Thai style BBQ steamboat instead. Our last meet earlier this year in May was also another bbq so if we keep this up, we got to start planning our next bbq haunt already.
Admittedly cooking with lard is a bit...er...intimidating, but then again at the end of the day its just fats right? Still.
The food was good though, and as usual the conversation topics were random and amusing.
Overall a good meet up. =)
