I've never been to The Coastal Settlement before, and never really thought about going there until when Lanie had arranged for a birthday celebration for Kee Wee after the Yellow Ribbon Run.
The food was pretty good, my Truffle Egg & Mushroom plate was awesome, I was intending to have the big breakfast but wasn't feeling very hungry today.
We managed to get Kee Wee a G Shock for his birthday and thanks to Lanie, we managed to buy the one he was eyeing, thank goodness! I initially had no intentions of wrapping the gift but 10 minutes before leaving the house thought to myself "aiyah what the heck" and rummage through the newspapers at home and did a 5 minute half pas six job.
Brunch was followed by coffee at Three Cups at Raffles Place with the addition of Ashley and her boyfriend, as well as Neo and May, not forgetting Paul. I haven't been sleeping good recently and hence was super tired, despite my second cup of coffee I was face down on the table for quite a good half of the session.
Overall though it was a pretty decent Sunday, glad to have been part of it and glad to have caught up with a few friends (apart from me knocking out at the table during coffee sess).
