Craze Ultra Marathon 2014 - Being Busy Bodies Once Again

Another year, another awesome running even held by Ben Swee and the good folk that make up the Craze Ultra committee.

This year, just like the last, some of us runners were intending to provide support to fellow runners who were taking part in the race.

So at about 4pm, the bunch of us reached Punggol Jetty to set up our coke station where beverages were given out to runners who were passing by. I had the camera with me and was glad to have taken a few shots of the happy faces who passed by.

The other objective of heading to the race was to provide Neo some support during his run. We were later at Checkpoint 8 serving drinks to a last few runners when we were hit by a huge downpour that left me shivering quite vigorously due to the severe cold.

But after catching up with Neo, we headed towards CP8 to check in and started making out way back to CP7.

By now however, Neo was rather tired due to the elements plus he was nursing a slight flu. We were walking most of the way, though we did pick up a little midway.

By the time we got back to CP6, Neo decided it was enough, today just wasn't his day, and we decided in his best interest, we ended at this checkpoint. By then we've been walking for 4 hours, we were all very tired and pretty much done with running.

Despite the shag faces, everyone had fun that day, the Craze Ultra has always been a wonderful experience at the end of the day, kudos to the team responsible for it!
