I took nearly 30 minutes to order my food, cause I was wandering around Old Airport road figuring what to eat.
I then stumbled upon a stall selling mee hoon kueh and figured what the heck. I had initially planned to just add egg, but then the auntie commented in Mandarin "ah boy, you add prawn want? Will peel the shell for you". Honestly I was feel very lazy that day, so when she said those magic words, I immediately said yes.
The dish itself is alright, nothing spectacular, but to me it was cause the MHK was hand rolled, so it had different consistency, some thick some thin, reminded me of the older days where people served none machine made MHK! So nostalgic!
Glad I ate this.
