Cause I had initially planned to meet Bernice and Din for breakfast this morning, I joined Eve at 6am inside MacRitchie to run to Dairy Farm and back.
We knew Running Department had a run at Dairy Farm itself and were looking if we could join them for a bit, so setting off at 6 was kinda ideal.
This is probably my earliest inside the trail, and it was damn dark, despite there being light in the sky, the sun was still at the horizon so none of the light was casting down onto the trail yet. It was pitch black and thankfully Eve had a headlamp to light the way.
By the time we got to Dairy Farm, it was bright already, and we caught the RD guys as they were setting off to Butterfly Loop. We managed to squeeze in a few km with them before turning around as we had a time schedule to keep to.
On the way back, we were pleasantly greeted by a bunch of hikers who had rambutans to give away, we paused for a 20 minute break and tried out best to finish them, it seriously was a lot!
By the time we had gotten back, it was 10+am, a bit too late to meet Bernice and Din, but I'll get to that later.
Good run this morning, so glad I managed to be part of it. I am super shag now, just got home. Gonna hit the showers soon and call it a day.
