I missed out the first dinner session of White Beehoon with the NB Runners awhile back, and today, since Jack was heading to Pauline's for a maintenance massage, he had asked if anyone were interested in dinner around the area.
Heck...why not yeah?
Personally I liked the prawn rolls and chicken wings (I like prawn rolls in general la), the wings were lightly seasoned and easy to eat. The sweet potato in sambal was a welcome change to kang kong, I didn't even know I was eating sweet potato leaves until I realized later on that it was missing the crunchy kang kong texture.
Beehoon wise, I thought it was ok, it kinda reminded me of a cross between a horfun-beehoon style with hokkien mee vibe...not sure if you get what I mean. It was good, but perhaps I wouldn't crave for it?
Overall a decent meal though, glad to have made time down for it.
