The article to paint on was a wooden bull statue, pretty cute, and each gallery were to have their artists come up with ideas to decorate it for the exhibition. Alongside their works, works from the public would be displayed as well.
Since it was a Buffel event, I wasn't too deeply involved in the logistics, but I did manage to find time last evening to head down and look at the final product.
In the front were mostly works from Jada Art and Maya Gallery, while the works at the back came from guests as well as the public who participated in the art contest in Vivocity awhile back.
I even bumped into Chiara and her husband and kids who dropped by to look at the exhibits as well. She was telling me how hard it was to work on the bull cause the material was different and the 3 dimensional shape was really tough to work on as compared to her usual canvases. Chiara's an architect by day and during her free time she paints, this was pretty new to her but I think she pulled it off quite alright.
There's plenty to see in the exhibition, you can really tell apart the artist works (above) from the general public, though there were indeed some public works that were fantastic like the ones below.
You can check out more of the pieces via the Facebook album below.
