Went down to Novena today to check out Gerard's final 42km run which he had been doing every day for the entire month of March to raise awareness of the Bone Marrow Donor Program.
We hung a bit and took a group photo before making our way for dinner. We passed by a ramen joint called Tonkotsu Kazan which served a sort of hot-stone ramen. Adrian and I jioed the rest to give it a try.
The ramen and its ingredients come served in a hot stone bowl that has been heated up to about 300 degrees celsius, and then soup is dunked into the bowl and a lid is covered where the vegetables and noodles are super heated via the bowl like a mini cooker.
The result is pretty solid, a piping hot bowl of noodles with hot soup to last throughout your meal! I think it also tastes nicer than the none stone bowl version Eve and Jack had.
Good stuff, awesome dinner. =)
