Lines #6

Was contemplating whether to go mono or leave some color in. LINK

good choice to go colour. the blue gradient adds a nice texture but there's something about the angle of the diagonal lines that seems to bug my eyes

Thx! Yeah i settled for the blue gradient, I like B&W but I realised I like it because it's also "easier"...don't like something in color, B&W could fix it right away. Hence trying to avoid B&W if I can.

That's the Singapore Power building btw, the diagonal lines, the main thing that bug me is cause it doesn't seem like a smooth line, the way the structure is, the diagonal lines are jagged.

Alternatively, I could have walked over to the singtel comcentre and shoot from there, the current shot was taken with me standing along the same road as the SG power building looking directly up.

i don't know if walking to comcen would give you a better frame man. all i can say that if at that moment you felt that there's a really good vibe with what you see, no harm walking around to explore other angles.
i say this cos i suffer from the same laziness and always have that niggling feeling that I missed a better angle cos I didn't explore further.

lol! Agreed! I saw the shot when I was across the street but didn't take it until I was closer. Time constraints for the run meant I gave myself the excuse to walk on. Not sure if the shot would've been better from across, perhaps I'll try it after reservist when the assignment is over.

Still, I'm rather happy I took the photo and went with color, so no loss here, just more to gain (visually or just learning-wise) had I walked back.
