Kuala Lumpur 2012

It's that time of the year again, and after awhile, there's really nothing much to write about. So I'll keep it short.

Our Room.

Instead of the usual rooms we looked for at YY38, we went for connecting theme rooms this time round. They were a little pricier, but we figured we'd give room sharing a shot, plus have something nice for a change...we didn't spend a lot of time in our rooms though, mainly to put our stuff down and sleep.

The Food.

This was the main event, and you can see why. Ngau Kee Beef Noodles, Meng Kee Char Siew, Wonton Noodles, Krispy Kremes, Burgers, Lok Lok etc, it was quite the eat-feast, though I didn't think we ate as much as we did the last time. Other eats included Plan B, TGIF, a Thai restaurant, even Restoran Oversea which is good for their Char Siew, but when we ate it, I think Meng Kee still faired better by quite a stretch. We did miss a few things though, I got lost trying to find my roti babi, and we couldn't find time for A&W in our schedule A&W outlets seem to be gone in KL city centre that we couldn't find them, plus our bus route meant we had to skip Grill Bar. Also worth mentioning was Sharon who made us Soba for our trip, a little salty but hey, still great!

The Sights.

We didn't really do much sight seeing, being a city area, most of the stuff are street related. Still, I figured, why not just shoot since I brought the camera out.

The Company.

Of course, it wouldn't be a KL pilgrimage without the right people eh?

Overall, KL was a blast, it was a short trip, but still a good one, in fact I thought it was much needed for me. =)
