Since his birthday was around the corner too, a few of his closest friends got together to have dinner at The Merry Men where we caught up quite a bit seeing that he'd be leaving pretty soon.
The food served at the place was pretty good, I wasn't feeling too well so I had a slab of grilled pork rack, though admittedly I did tuck into fries and pizza. =)
Of course, a KZ get-together wouldn't be so without alcohol, and hence a few pints in, the man of the hour was a Merry Man himself! It was good seeing them catch up, I think he'll definitely miss the company while in Germany.
I couldn't stay long and had to skip the part where they went to Zouk cause I had a run the next day, plus I had a flu to nurse so I needed to tuck in early.
Here's to the man of the hour, Happy Birthday, have a safe trip, and enjoy yourself in Germany!
