I Hate Drowsy Meds

Since I went to the doctor yesterday, the medication I've been given seems to be giving me this really trippy feeling throughout the day.

So I went to read up the contents of the medication given to me to see what the heck was inside those stuff.

Apparently Norgesic contains paracetamol as well as Orphenadrine. The former is a common drug you find in panadol and other store bought medication. The latter on the other hand works as a muscle relaxant to sooth the body...there are side effects though!

Common side effects include: dry mouth, dizziness, drowsiness, restlessness, insomnia, constipation, urine retention, orthostatic hypotension, and euphoria.

The certain explains why my face has been super dry since last night, I felt like I couldn't stand straight, I couldn't fall asleep easily, and found myself heading to the toilet again and again.

The good news is the cold has subsided...now I find myself having trouble tackling the strong meds than the actual cold. =P
