Windows 8 Consumer Preview

When I had a first glance at Windows 8, I wasn't impressed, it looked confusing, but now looking at the consumer preview, you can see Microsoft is really making an effort to building a more hands on user experience OS.

Gizmodo even gave it a pretty impressive review praising it's innovation which is something they haven't gotten from Microsoft in ages, while on the other hand writing about their disappointment with the lack of innovation that comes with Mountain Lion.

Windows 8 does look innovative, and like all new innovations may require a bit of a learning curve at first, but from Gizmodo's review, once you get the hang of it, it's very intuitive.

With Apple being the innovator of the OS for the past few years, it'll be interesting to see if Windows 8 does a good job pulling itself back up to the throne it hasn't claim in...well...years.
