Today's Newton run was great! Was initially pacing with Colin, Al, and Calvin, but we both ended up picking up pace a little and soon enough we both found ourselves in the no-here-no-there section...you know....all the fast runners in front, all the slow/recovery runners at the back. Two of us blur cock in the middle following another Newton runner who wasn't familiar with the route.
Since she was wearing the Newton Runners Singlet, I immediately assumed she was familiar with the route and so Calvin and I had her as our "tour guide".
Turns out once we reached the bridge, she turned around and go "Hm they're not here, I'm not very familiar with this route actually"
O_o
lol so all three of us hung out at the bridge for awhile, and once we figured no one was coming back, we turned around and headed back.
8.5km still is a pretty good distance, don't regret it.
Next week's the Affordable Art Fair...not sure if I can join the run, but if not, guess we'll just push it to another week then!
