iOS 5.0.1 - You Battery's Fixed!

I think after the whole antenna thing from last year, Apple wasn't ready to have another PR disaster for their new model.

Best part is you can finally receive updates via cloud. =)

The updates via cloud is LPPL, have to connect iPhone to mac to charge anyway so might as well update through there since it is faster to download from the mac.

lol is the file really big? I figured it might be taxing on the iPhone only for this update because it's downloading sth huge while running on a fast-draining battery.

I think subsequent updates via cloud will be a much better experience once the battery from this fix allows it to tahan longer. Great convenience especially for those constantly on the move or like for my dad who doesn't know how to hook his phone up to a laptop.

Need to try and update iOS5 for him when free.

recommended to connect to power source but not a must. i did mine using batt power only. of course, need to make sure there's enough juice, otherwise confirm LPPL need a full restore.
