Windows 8 Looks Confusing

Iono about you, Windows 7 is pretty impressive considering it actually does not suck.

8 seems to try and "add legs to the snake". =\

it is targeted at tablets and ultra-portables which is where the money is.

True, but since it's suppose to cross all platforms as well as the pc, I'm not sure how it'll affect conventional users.

Plus if they intend to jam the entire Windows 8 into a tablet....wow that's more ambitious than what Apple's doing with the iPad.

To Windows, I wish them good luck. =)

Hopefully I guess. Maybe the interface to me looks a bit lost. Then again I tried a Windows 7 phone the other day and was quite lost with their interface too, which I believe is the same format Windows 8 is adopting on its computers.

Plus I still can't get over the fact that we must use Explorer. =\

they can no longer force you to use explorer, due to some anti-competitive laws in EU.

i agree that the UI needs getting used to given how people have been used to the standard Windows UI. however, if things are expected to stay the same, who's gonna drive the innovation?

lol I always welcome new UI, just this one looks rather different...maybe constant usage will allow the public to get used to it.
