Had to apply sharpening on a few of the shots, but generally glad with the outcome of my shots despite struggling with some low light areas at times, especially at the swimming transition area.
While the two previous events were pretty bright, the cool weather that morning meant that it was more comfortable walking around but it also mean having to compensate for the some of the photos. No good shots of Colin this time round, the ones that were good were of a funny posture, the ones that had a good posture were out of focus (AI Servo can't seem to keep up)...then came that stupid police car that blocked my panning bike shot of him, losing at least 3-4 potentially good shots.
I think what disappointed me the most was the group photo...I forgot to change my focus settings from point focus to 9-spot focusing, resulting in the guy pointing in front, which end up focusing the backdrop rather than us, hence sharpening had to be applied there too to fix it...what a cookoo moment!
Need to work on action shots next time round, I realise I really suck at it.
