Hm...how does that work? My rationale is that DVD's can't re-write, so I don't see how it can embed into the DVD to inform itself that it has been used before. =\
Plus I asked the guy questions about the DVD and how OEM differs from normal before I bought this.

Ok. BY RIGHT.
OEM can only limited to ONE computer, meaning if you major hardware upgrade, or destroy the computer and get a new computer, you CANNOT use it again.
Original means you are limited to ONE computer, but if you major upgrade if, or destroy the computer and get a new one, you CAN use it again.

my understanding for the OEM version is that even if you wanna install on another machine, you won't be able to.
