Embassy VFX

I've been following Embassy VFX for quite a few years now. I first got to hear of them from the Tetra Vaal robot video which caught my eye way back before I was in the army.

Used as the company's portfolio, this video was their company's demonstration of their visual effects capability, which honestly is damn impressive apart from the flying empty round.

I like their stuff a lot, every now and then I'd drop by their website to see if they've updated it, unfortunately they don't do it as often.

Still, some of my favorite movies had them play a part in the visuals for it.

District 9 (Especially the giant exo suit)

Check them out when you've got time, a lot of their stuff are on youtube, not much though, but not many companies can do what they are doing. Most companies like Hydraulx (Skyline) and Cinesite (Alien vs Predator) tend to darken a lot and use motion to hide detail...Embassy brings it all out in broad daylight and still pulls off photo-realistic work which never fails to impress, especially the aliens and exo suit in District 9!

Really awesome work, I had my guess that Battle LA looked lik their work, true enough it is =)
