Dining w Here We Yo

It's been a year since I got the hang out with the HWY crew, honestly they are like family to me, one of the first few foreign players I got to know and was accepted in to back in 2004. To have them come down during AP 11 was exciting cause it's been awhile since we caught up.

So when this year almost the entire bunch of senior folks could make it, what better way than to bring them out for dinner and chat a little?

As usual though the conversation was more yo-yo than anything else, but at least the jokes slowly seeped in and with Colin & Jeddy being able to speak to them in cantonese, it opened up the conversation even more, making it quite enjoyable chatting with the bunch.

Since the Hong Kong crew never really had the pleasure of eating Bakut Teh, we decided to bring them to Founders, only to find that it was closed for that night, so we made a turn and headed for Haverlock Road instead to eat at Yu Hua.

Wasn't as good to the Andy & Walter crew as their first time where they had it at Founders, but for Simpson, Ron, and Dorothy, this was pretty good stuff considering they don't get it back home. =)

Next stop was Geylang for Durians, something Ron and Walter enjoy eating actually, while Andy, Simpson and Dorothy weren't going near it at all. We got Andy to sink his teeth into one, but then he kinda grossed out midway. lol

I think most of the durians were finished thanks to this guy, who practically dug through most of the remainders like it was a drug to him or sth.

It was great having a night out with the HWY crew, hopefully I'll get to see them again if I go up to Hong Kong mid this year.
