I was pretty much done and ready to turn in after wishing babe good night. Today hadn't been very productive from the very beginning, especially since I woke up with my left ankle feeling all beat up that I had to skip a run.
Feeling quite bad about it, I decided to make up for it by doing a short 4km run, figuring that I could then proceed to do my usual 6km route the following morning.
So I took off heading towards the 4km route I hadn't taken in ages, and as I was nearing the point where I could turn down and head back home, I figured I'd come this far, I might as well try to make up for the entire run and complete at least a 6km for the night, and then follow up with my 6km for Thursday morning.
Everything was going fine, I didn't race this time round and took my time with my pace, basically at the speed I was going, I could talk without gasping for air so that was a good thing.
As I reached the 6km mark, I looked at my watch, it was almost midnight! How was I gonna head back in time, wash up, and get enough sleep to wake up the next morning for my other 6km???
It then hit me, why don't I just complete both runs tonight?
So I did! I continued down the road all the way to Adam, took the turn at serene centre, and slowly paced my way back towards home.
I hadn't done pass 10 in awhile, the last being that time in KL with Colin one early morning to burn enough so that we could enjoy our daily beef noodles.
Like I said I only had intended to run 4km, so I hadn't had much to drink, which resulted in me making a pit stop at a local petrol kiosk to gas up with a bottle of H20 before heading on my route.
13km is probably the longest distance I've had on my record so far under Runkeeper, am actually quite happy with it, not only did I pass what I initially thought was to be a 4 km run, I'd completed enough to cover tomorrow morning's as well.
Guess that means I can sleep well tonight.
Gonna take a shower and koonz, good night people!
