BD Run

It's a vicious cycle. You wake up, you don't feel like getting up. You roll in bed again and again.

But then the irritating alarm clock you had set the night before goes off and you're cursing and swearing, jumping out of bed and running to the other end of the room to turn it off.

You have left it there the night before so that you'd force yourself to get up and walk across the room. You mumble mumble, put on your singlet, grab your shoes and wear them.

Next thing you know you're on the road. The first 2km was a bit more challenging, cause your body hasn't exactly warmed up yet. You keep going on, telling yourself today you might end a shorter route. Perhaps 4km will be fine.

You then reach the 4km mark and realised you still got it going, so you continue.

5km.

6km.

You stop, check your watch, it's been 38 mins since you started.

Your mind is now awake, the grumpy you 38 mins ago has come and gone. You're feeling much better now.

The thing about running, is yeah I do find it tiresome at times to commit to it, sometimes I think running alone is really boring and tedious, but whenever the run is over, I don't regret that I'd done it.

Happy now =)
