Top Expenses of 2010

Hey yeah...I know I'm just following off what Colin posted on his blog, but I figured I might as well give my expenses a check.

Since I didn't really buy much stuff for myself, I've decided to add expenses rather than "Boys & Toys" into the mix.

1. Slik Tripod (January) - $80 *Boys & Toys*

Used it until it's pretty much depreciated...still using! =)

2. Hong Kong Trip (March) - $1000+? *R&R*

Trip up to HK with babe, Airfare, hotel and food included, I think we did pretty well for a 4 day trip =)

3. Propnex Crest Course (April) - $728 *Educational*

Money not well spent, but at least I gave it a try to see if it was something I'd like. Regret paying? Don't Regret paying? K la, I'll just take it as an expensive learning experience.

4. 18-135mm Lens (August) - $460 *Boys & Toys*

It's only a kit lens, but one which I've fully utilized and am glad with this purchase =)

5. KL Trip (September) - $305 *R&R*

Quite the budget trip!

6. Cannondale Trail 6 - $780 *Boys & Toys*

Have yet to fully make use of it, will try to make it for another mountain bike trail one day when Colin and Andy come over.

7. Vans "Crooks and Castles" Moda Hi sneakers - $150 *Boys & Toys*

Will wear them once this pair of Half Cabs destroy themselves

8. Vibrams Five Fingers - $120 *Boys & Toys*

Been using them ever since I got them, I've ran 41.42km with it. That's $2.90 per kilometer as of now, have to try and bring it down to $1 per km by end of Feb...it's very achievable considering I know for a fact that I don't aim high (lol)

9. Holga 120 White + Batteries + Film - $120 *For Babe*

I'm just going to put the price out, it's not like it's very hard to find out how much this costs anyway. I haven't bought anything lovely for babe in awhile....I suck at buying presents, I got this cause I figured her problem with the Diana is that she don't have a flash to work with, and thought the Holga might give her more chances to explore her interest. =)

10. KL 2010 + JB Stopover - $450 *R&R*

Second trip up to KL, including stopover at Gary's.

I'm actually glad, I don't think I've spent much on "toys" this year, 5 things for myself...most of my money went to food, so I guess if I wrote an expense list on that, I'd freak out. Lawry's alone was like.....heh

I wanted to add the Universal Studios trip down, but seeing how it only was $68, it wasn't "much" in a sense compared to the other things above.

Wonder how I'll do for 2011...
