Morning Run

Knocked out in front of the computer again from 11 to 5 and missed my run.

At least I got a decent amount of sleep, happy =)

Had to cover up by running this morning at 6 instead, my first morning run before the sun comes up since NS!

I rmb back in secondary school someone mentioned early morning runs are healthier cause the trees start giving out oxygen so you'll be more refreshed when you run.

Nonsense, the sun isn't even up.

Tired, walking back home now.

You burn more fats when you workout in the morning.

When you workout at night, you are just burning off the calories you accumulated throughout the day.

Sleeping burns calories. When you wake up and start exercise, your body will proceed to burn your reserves.

Of course, if you eat Big Breakfast Deluxe before your run then LPPL.

Hm...but if you run at night and burn out the calories you accumulated throughout the day, you mean when you sleep your body no longer burns anything, not even the reserves?

I believe your sleeping/resting heart rate is not high enough to actually touch your reserves. If it is that high, you need to see a doctor asap.

Just learnt yesterday that there is a specific HR zone where you will burn fat effectively.

See how, still quite sian about the whole morning run thing especially since I've been working late the past few weeks...maybe after this event is over, I'll give it some thought

You are supposed to be stoned and still in a zonked out mode in the morning. I think of myself as a running zombie. Btw the run is over, I would woken up and the rest of the day proceeds as usual.

You don't jump out of bed and start working immediately in your boxers mah.
