Maiden Voyage

For some reason the bike keeps having this squeaking sound coming from the discs brakes, they don't spin freely when you pick them up and give them a spin...wonder what's wrong.

That aside though, cycling this is amazing! I understand now the importance of picking the right size (still don't understand Geometry), you lean into corners easier, you tackle zig zags faster, basically you're more agile! The polygon was a hassle at times when I needed to go up a pavement and execute a 90 degree turn, the Cannondale was way easier to maneuver around such pathways with ease.

Did 10km in 35 mins today, not road bike speeds, but considering I wasn't travelling on the flat road most of the time cause I was missing a helmet, 35min seems decent to me.

So far so good with the bike, just wondering how to fix the disc brake issue.

Another small size bike may not necessarily feel the same.

The disc brake rotors are not perfect. Both my street stag and my cannondale have the same issue. Try to re seat your wheel again just to be sure it was seated properly.

Ah, I see, maybe it's something I will really have to try to understand, but comparing this to my old clunker, it's definitely much better at handling!

Will try to re seat it when I go for my next bike out, hopefully in two days time. =)
