I don't think I've mentioned this before, but my Dad's close friend owns Black Angus at Orchard and the one formerly at One Fullerton, but not only does he own western steak houses, he also owns Chong Qing Hot Pot at Tanglin Shopping Centre, and Chinese Feast at Suntec.
The CQHP at Tanglin was probably the first CQHP in Singapore, and to me still one of the best around.
It was a littled hard to get there though since I was at Suntec already, so we went for the alternative at Chinese Feast, his second branch which initially started out as a regular Chinese Restaurant.

It's been quite awhile since Xinn and I had a good meal tgt, so I figured something nice like warm soup would be great for the recent rainy weather.

I know I haven't tried Coca before so I'm in no position to say this is better than that hyped up steamboat, but I'd say this is really my most favorite of all the other steamboats I've had. Granted it's really pricey, SGD$30++ per head, it's still something I'd pay from time to time to enjoy...this time though, Xinn was the one treating. =P

I'd mentioned before though how I though House of Steamboat at Bugis was to me the best Steamboat for under SGD$20, it's one of the closest to that of the CQHP my uncle owns, but not close enough yet, still for something below $20, the House of Steamboat was a really good bargain. =)
