Saturday though, was one hellava weekend, so I figured I'd write about it.
It all started with me bringing Xinn to Provence at Holland Village, this Japanese Pastry shop which served up some really good tasting bread, one of which was the Milk Bun Colin had given me a while back. It was so good I had to bring her there =)
You see the ones at the bottom left shelf? Those are the stuff, Milk Bread, seriously good stuff! Hans brought us to one at St Laven at Takashimaya which also sold them, but they weren't, as Hans puts it, life changing as the ones from Holland V.
Am glad Xinn loved it though, hopefully we'll be able to stop by here more often for more bread in future =)Next stop was to this Japanese Restaurant called Tan Po Poo.
Danielle has been recommending me to go to Tan PoPo for quite some time now, thing is I seldom headed to Liang Court so I didnt really get the opportunity to try it out.
Until on Saturday I headed down with Xinn to Taka and had lunch at their newly open outlet there =)
Their Ramen is seriously good! Wit ha soup base for their pork bone and seafood soup which tasted really fragrant!
Their spicy Shabu Shabu noodles weren't as good though, but still great. It's nothing like the one at Ramen Ramen though, they don't taste similar, but both have seriously good points. If you ask me though, I still prefer Ramen Ramen =)
Dessert was really interesting, and came in the form of an orange filled with jelly. Haha, novelty right? I thought it was ok, nothing really special, just unique, but taste wise it was pretty much like.....er......jelly with fruit? =)
The reason why I was at TAKA though was cause of these guys. The President Star Charity was on, and so Spinworkx was asked to perform at the event, so I had to go down and take photos and stuff since Colin was away in Malaysia covering the yo-yo nationals there =)
Mr Nathan was there (duh), too bad he didn't hang around to watch the yo-yo performance though cause he was busy checking out the booths at the place. But whatever, I was there for the yo-yo performance anyway =)
The performance was ok, Roy didn't like Trick x3 though, found it to be rather messy, I figured it was hard to get them to putt it together for a good one but hopefully we'll work sth out in future.
I thought the kids enjoyed the show though, and I think the guys enjoyed performing as well, and that was good enough for me =)After that though, I went down to the carpark and Xinn found this...
Apparently some lady had reversed park really fast and didn't check her mirrors, ended up grazing my mum's car...kaoz.Thankfully though, a witness saw the whole thing and took down the car plate number of the runaway car, Thank You Mrs Koh for leaving us a kind note =)
Dear Car plate E6028Y, watch out, we're coming for u.
Saturday night was pretty special, cause Xinn's mum had asked me to Dinner, so I followed Xinn to pick her up and we headed to Toa Payoh to Oasis for our meal.

I loved Oasis as a kid, my parents took me there before when they were still located at Kallang. Their prices though, had sky rocketed in the past few years, something I'm not really fond of, but still the food was great! Thanks to Xinn's mum for dinner, it was seriously nice of you to do that =)
After dinner came chill-time, where I headed with Xinn down to Clarke Quay to meet up with Kelly, Sophie and JENNY!
It's been awhile since Jenny had met up with us especially since she left for London for over a year so it was great to see her again =)
Jenny's the one on the left, her sister Helen, in the middle looks a lot like her duncha think? Sophie was with them when we arrived as well and we found the three of them at the smoking corner having a puff and chatting about life.
Jenny offered to take a photo of me and Xinn, cute right? Picture looks 10 times better with me inside =X
Anyway getting to meet Jenny again was great, and as the girls headed off to party, I took Xinn out for supper, then sent the sleepy head home to koonz.I then found myself sleeping at the carpark outside her house for a good 2 hours, after which I drove home, and slept at my house carpark for another 3 hours before waking up at 7am feeling really stuffy and what not cause I had left my windows wound up.
FUAH....one hellava post......been a long time since I've done one.
Anyway today mark's Xinn's end of her Internship and next week will mark the beginning of her full time career, proud of u dear =)
Time for bed, night guys =)
