Hello.: Germ's 21st

Saturday, I found myself driving through Telok Kurau for quite a bit looking for a family run restaurant which is apparently surrounded by houses that looked almost identical

For that moment while I was there, I could have swore I drove right into an episode of Weeds where they have your typical suburban white town.

I wouldn't have driven through that area if it were for the fact that I was on my way to celebrate Germaine's 21st Birthday at the JK Don outlet at that area! =)

I honestly think it's been awhile since our classmates have done something together out of school, and was kinda glad that a friend's birthday helped resolve that. =)

Though a few of the people couldn't make it at the last minute, a bunch of the guys came, and hung out till pretty late.

The Durian stall next door even had a cake prepped for Germs, Durian cake!!! I was tempted to drag my classmates over to the other side to sit down and chill with some durians but apparently Sophie wasn't too keen so we remained seated inside the restaurant instead. lol

The presents that Danny, Chin and Bert got her was pretty cool, with gifts hidden around the restaurant while Germs was busy entertaining guests, after which they made her open a trash bag full of nothing but stuff which she probably will have to bring back to school again. hah!

The cake served that night was good, chocolate, as usual, Germ's favorite food item. The girls made her eat it with her hands behind the back, while Danielle playfully made the joys of eating cake a tad harder than it usually would.

The party was great, the hanging out was something I needed in a long time, not that hanging out with my other friends weren't good, just that it was great chilling with classmates outside of school, something which I've been dying for in a long while
