I went through my photos I took with my C902 recently. Can't complain much, the picture's slightly better than my K850i only cause it's lens surface is new and not scuffed like the other phone.
I've been having dim sum recently, quite a bit of it too actually.

I joined Chestine, Debs, Tatz and Gene at the Tian Jin Guan at Bras Basah to try out some of their stuff. I haven't been there since I brought Xinn there awhile back.

Their cold beef slices were pretty cool, a lil like a chilled jerky that isn't overly salted.

The usual stuff like their xiao long pau and spring onion pancake was ok, not the best I've tasted though. I gave it a bit more thought and figured for the high price you pay, it tasted rather similar what you might be able to get an most coffeeshops...quite sad.

Their Guo Tie, on the other hand, was pretty good to me, slightly oily but certainly nice though it wasn't fully wrapped. $6 for 10 pieces, I thought this was the only thing worth spending that day.
Dinner was Dim Sum again, although more leaning towards supper rather since we ate at around 11.

Apparently, Xinn and Chang have never been to this place before....wah missing out man!!!
I traced back my blog and realised I did go with someone awhile back, May last year to be correct. It was with Melvin though I thought I was there with Colin. weird.

One thing I like about this place is that their main products are above average...main being their Ha Gau and Siew Mai. For me, if the base items don't work, how can their other items taste good right?

Their Char Siew Pau was great, and their Otah is still one of my favorite Otahs you can find around town...period...whether off the grill or in the steamer, this is DELICIOUS!

So much so that I broke a bit off the pau and had otah wrapped in it...shiok!

I thought overall their stuff are, and always has been anyway, really good. Chang found a new place to bring C out to eat. I found a place to satisfy my craving for dim sum. =)
Things to steer clear of

Apparently their Pai Ku isn't as shiok as alot of places, I'm not much of a pai ku dim sum person so I didn't know the difference, but Xinn and Chang thought it didn't taste as nice and couldn't put their finger on it as to why it didn't hit the spot.

AVOID THEIR XIAO LONG BAO!
It's dry, not the soupy sort you'd get, it almost tasted like a meat pau filling wrapped in skin and oversteamed.

These are great if you're a prawn lover...Mince meat wrapped around a whole shrimp, I love this, and never fail to order it whenever I go there.

This one also caught my eye, prawns with french beans served steamed with er....i think the stuff on top are deep fried dried shrimp...WAH THIS IS DOPE!

5 pieces for $6 though, but if you're a prawn person, I think you shouldn't miss this. =)

So next time if you're at Geylang Lorong 17 (for whatever reason it may be...*ahem*), do drop by this dim sum place and give it a try, especially....ESPECIALLY....if you're into shrimp like me =)
